Near the bay of the Mont Saint Michel, the team of the Granville Riding Club welcomes you !

Infrastructures:

  • 32 horse boxes,
  • one covered horsemanship,
  • a training horsemanship,
  • a steeplechase area at 50m of the beach,
  • a club house.

Activities proposed:

  • Introduction to riding from age 2s,
  • preparation and taking of federation axams,
  • outing and treks,
  • prepartion for competitions (Championship of France)
  • Obstacle jumping and dressage,
  • fun riding,
  • barrel race,
  • equifun,
  • pony game.

The riding club of Granville is near the racecourse of Granville.

Since the turn of the last century, each year the Société des Courses de Granville et du Pays Granvillais, organises 6 meets that take place in June, July and August.
About fifty races are run each year and two mayor events are proposed to the public:

  • Grand Cross (René Couëtil Prize) over 5,200 meters with no les than 28 obstacles,
  • Grand Steeple Chase (Casino de Granvilloe Prize) over 4,300 meters run August 15th each year,
